Concert Artists' philosophy is simple: To make all kinds of music accessible and engaging to everyone by presenting
diverse programs of classical music plus special concerts featuring pops, operetta and lighter favorites.

Founded in 1987 by Edward Polochick, Concert Artists of Baltimore is the only combined all professional chamber orchestra and vocal ensemble in Maryland.
Ensembles vary in size from a duo to 70 musicians.

Concert Artists of Baltimore is supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. Funding for the Maryland State Arts Council is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.

These programs are also made possible in part through sponsorship of the Baltimore County
Executive, County Council, and the Commission on Arts and Sciences; and by the Baltimore
Office of Promotion & the Arts.
