The Lyceum Series

Conversations about the Music

A series of four 1-hour talks by one of Baltimore’s most entertaining music lecturers. Ernest Liotti will guide you on a thought-provoking and humorous musical exploration designed to enrich your experience of CAB’s 2013-2014 concert season.


Ernest Liotti teaches a variety of courses on opera literature and seminars on great singers and pianists of the past as a faculty member of the Peabody Conservatory. Mr. Liotti also lectures on varied subjects from classical music to film and Art Deco.

As a long-standing faculty member of the Peabody Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel) Program, Mr. Liotti lectures across the U.S. and Europe for such organizations as Friends of Tanglewood and alumni of Brandeis and Johns Hopkins Universities.
